Warranty & Return Policy

At VLG Cellphone Repair, we are committed to delivering high-quality repair services and products. Please carefully review our warranty and return policy before making a purchase or requesting a service.

All Sales Are Final

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase or repair has been completed, unless it is determined that the device is deemed non-repairable by our technicians.

On a case-by-case basis, we will consider exchanging a product for the same kind of product–for example, one phone case for another phone case. To be considered for an exchange, it must be unused in the original packaging.

Limited Repair Warranty

We offer a 30-day limited warranty that covers workmanship on repairs performed by our certified technicians. This warranty applies solely to defects directly related to the repair service we provided.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:
– Physical damage due to drops, impacts, or customer misuse.
– Liquid damage or moisture exposure.
– Third-party interventions or tampering after our service.
– Pre-existing conditions unrelated to our repair work.
– Damage caused by electrical surges or faulty external accessories.

Screen Replacement Warranty

If VLG Cell Phone Repair replaces a cell phone screen for you, the screen is guaranteed for the following amount of time, based on the type of replacement.

No Warranty on LCD Screens

LCD screens carry no warranty. Due to the delicate nature of LCD components and the risk of improper handling, we do not provide any guarantee or return options for LCD screens once installed or sold.

What does Internal Damage mean on display assemblies?

Display assemblies are made of several layers of thin and fragile materials, such as the OLED/LCD panel, backlight, polarizer, digitizer, etc. Any of these panels, especially the OLED/LCD panels, can be damaged internally due to drops or pressure. The type of damage is very hard to detect from the outside, but there are some signs that identify this type of damage. Examples include line appearing across the display, dead pixels, black spots, bleed marks, color distortions, etc.

Batteries

All of the batteries that we sell come with a 30-day warranty. This warranty covers any defects or issues that may occur with the battery within 30 days of purchase as long as there is no physical damage to the battery.

Pre-Owned Devices

All of our pre-owned devices come with a 30-day warranty. This warranty covers any defects or issues that may occur with a pre-owned device within 30 days of purchase. When returning the device for warranty, please ensure to remove any personal data, iCloud information, Google account information, or any other data on the device.

Genuine Apple Parts (GAPP Program)

All of our Genuine Apple Parts come with a 90-day warranty from date of purchase. This warranty covers any genuine parts that remain unused and in their original packaging. Installed or used genuine parts are no longer eligible for returns or warranty coverage. This policy ensures that all GAPP parts stay in pristine condition, guaranteeing our customers receive genuine, high-quality Apple components.

Device Inspection & Service Review

Devices must be returned to VLG Cellphone Repair for inspection if an issue arises within the warranty period. If the issue is covered by warranty, we will perform the necessary repairs at no additional cost. If the issue falls outside the warranty terms, we will provide a repair estimate.

Parts Policy

All parts used in our repairs are tested prior to installation. However, external factors and everyday use may affect the longevity of components. We do not provide warranties beyond the stated period.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing products or services from VLG Cellphone Repair, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this warranty and return policy.

Refunds and Return Credits

If any of the above-mentioned product types are returned to us and covered under warranty, we will issue a credit to your account based on the current selling price or the purchase price of the product, whichever is lower. You can also request the product to be exchanged instead. Only parts purchased directly from VLG Cell Phone Repair are eligible for credit or exchange. Items purchased elsewhere are not eligible for return.

To return an item, it must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

We require a receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return.

If you discover an issue with a repair we performed, please bring it us immediately. We must be able to troubleshoot the issue in person. If we discover the problem is with the part we replaced or fixed, we will first attempt to repair your device at no extra charge. When we cannot fix the problem, we may offer you a refund.

If we diagnosed an issue on your phone and it turns out that was not the problem–i.e., we thought it was a screen issue when in fact it was a problem with the battery–we will provide a refund for the original service if the device is brought back to us within 10 days of repair.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, it must be unused in the original packaging.
